Meadow Lake RCMP investigating shooting on Waterhen Lake First Nation

Meadow Lake RCMP is investigating a shooting that resulted in two individuals being injured. 

On June 13, 2026, at approximately 3:00 a.m., Meadow Lake RCMP responded to a report of a shooting at a residence on Waterhen Lake First Nation. Officers responded and located two injured adults. Both adults were transported to hospital by local EMS with injuries described as non-life threatening in nature. 

Meadow Lake RCMP continue to investigate and ask anyone who may have information or video surveillance of suspicious activity on Waterhen Lake First Nation on June 13, 2026, to contact the RCMP by calling 310-RCMP
