On June 12, 2026 at approximately 11:15 p.m., Waskesiu/Montreal Lake RCMP received a report of an injured female at a residence on Naytowhow Lane on Montreal Lake Cree Nation.
Investigation determined an altercation occurred between two adult females at the residence. During the altercation, one female was seriously injured. She was transported to hospital by STARS. The second female fled from the residence.
Later that same day, Waskesiu/Montreal Lake RCMP arrested an adult female at a separate residence on Montreal Lake Cree Nation.
29-year-old Allison Bird from Montreal Lake is charged with:
- one count, aggravated assault, Section 268, Criminal Code; and
- two counts, fail to comply with probation order, Section 733.1(1), Criminal Code.
Allison Bird appeared in Prince Albert Provincial Court on June 15, 2026.
Waskesiu/Montreal Lake RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of Saskatchewan RCMP’s Prince Albert Serious Crimes Unit.
