La Ronge RCMP seeking public assistance in locating and identifying suspects in assault, armed robbery

La Ronge RCMP are asking the public for assistance in locating and identifying suspects in relation to an assault and robbery in La Ronge, SK. 

On July 3, 2026, around 11:45 p.m. La Ronge RCMP received a report of an injured male in a vehicle parked on Morins Hill in La Ronge.

Officers responded and determined an altercation occurred between three adult males in the vehicle. During the altercation, a male was assaulted with a weapon. 

The injured male was able to exit the vehicle and leave the scene. He was transported to hospital by EMS with injuries described as non-life threatening in nature.

Two males fled in the injured male’s vehicle. Officers located the stolen vehicle in La Ronge but did not immediately locate the suspects. 

As a result of continued investigation, an adult male has been charged. A warrant has been issued for his arrest. La Ronge RCMP are asking the public for help in locating him and continue efforts to identify and locate the second male suspect.

Blake Roberts, a 22-year-old from La Ronge, is charged with one count, robbery with weapon, Section 344, Criminal Code and two counts, fail to comply, Section 145(5)(a), Criminal Code.

Blake Roberts is described as:

• Height: 6’2”
• Weight: 180 lbs
• Eye colour: brown
• Hair colour and style: black

He also goes by the name ‘Blake Charles.’
