Spiritwood RCMP investigating fatal rollover

On July 12, 2026 at approximately 10:55 a.m., Spiritwood RCMP received a report of a single-vehicle rollover on Highway #24 near Pelican Lake First Nation.
Officers responded along with local fire and EMS. Two of the occupants of the vehicle were declared deceased by EMS at the scene. They have been identified as a 31-year-old male and a 39-year-old female both from Pelican Lake First Nation. Their families have been notified.
A third passenger was transported to hospital by EMS with injuries described as serious in nature.
Spiritwood RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
