Prince Albert RCMP have charged a woman after a traffic stop led them to seizing cocaine, methamphetamine and weapons.
On August 2, 2026, Prince Albert RCMP were conducting patrols on Highway #2 in the RM of Buckland. They observed a speeding vehicle swerving, and performed a traffic stop.
Officers administered an oral fluid device test on the driver. It showed the driver had recently consumed cocaine. She was arrested.
During a search of the vehicle, officers located and seized approximately 55 grams of cocaine, 11 grams of methamphetamine, a sum of cash, trafficking paraphernalia and a can of bear spray.
As a result of continued investigation, officers obtained and executed a search warrant at a residence in Prince Albert. They located and seized almost 200 grams of cocaine, trafficking paraphernalia, a large sum of cash and an imitation firearm.
31-year-old Brianne Weber from Prince Albert is charged with:
- one count, possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine, Section 5(2), Controlled Drugs and Substance Act;
- one count, possession for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine, Section 5(2), Controlled Drugs and Substance Act;
- one count, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, Section 88(2), Criminal Code;
- one count, operation of a conveyance while impaired, Section 320.14(1)(a), Criminal Code; and
- one count, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, Section 354(1)(a), Criminal Code.
Brianne Weber was remanded into custody until her scheduled appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court on August 4 (Information #90538371).
