An adult male has been charged after he struck multiple vehicles when fleeing from police during a robbery investigation.
On August 26, 2026 at approximately 10:10 p.m., Battlefords RCMP received a report of a robbery outside a business on Railway Avenue East in North Battleford.
Investigation determined an adult male threatened a victim with a weapon and attempted to rob them. The suspect fled the scene in a vehicle.
Investigation determined the suspect’s vehicle had been stolen in North Battleford earlier that evening. A short time later, officers located the suspect outside a residence in the stolen vehicle.
Officers activated their vehicle’s emergency equipment and initiated a traffic stop. The stolen vehicle did not stop and fled from police. While fleeing, the suspect hit multiple parked vehicles before abandoning the stolen vehicle and fleeing on foot. Police located and arrested the suspect outside a residential property.
No occupants were inside the parked vehicles when they were struck by the suspect's vehicle.
As a result of continued investigation, 32-year-old Jeffrey Holliday from North Battleford, SK has been charged with:
• one count, robbery with offensive weapon, Section 344, Criminal Code;
• one count, possession of property obtained by crime over $5000, Section 354(1)(a), Criminal Code;
• one count, resist peace officer, Section 129(a), Criminal Code;
• one count, disguised with intent to commit offence, Section 351(2), Criminal Code;
• one count, possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose, Section 88(1), Criminal Code;
• one count, failure to stop after accident, Section 320.16(1), Criminal Code;
• one count, common nuisance – endanger life, Section 180(1), Criminal Code;
• one count, assault with a weapon, Section 267(a), Criminal Code;
• one count, flight from peace officer, Section 320.17, Criminal Code;
• one count, fail to comply with release order condition, Section 145(5)(a), Criminal Code; and
• one count, dangerous operation of motor vehicle, Section 320.13(1), Criminal Code.
He is scheduled to appear in North Battleford Provincial Court on August 28, 2026 (Information #90643616).
