On September 9, 2026, Saskatchewan RCMP’s Lloydminster Saskatchewan Trafficking and Response Team (STRT) executed a search warrant at a residence in Lloydminster as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.
During the search, officers located and seized approximately 41 grams of cocaine, 19 grams of methamphetamine, two firearms, ammunition, and drug trafficking paraphernalia.
Saskatchewan RCMP’s Lloydminster STRT arrested an adult male at the residence.
49-year-old Brett Zilliges from Lloydminster, SK is charged with:
- one count, possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine, Section 5(2), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;
- one count, possession for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine, Section 5(2), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;
- one count, possession of a firearm when knowing possession unauthorized, Section 92(1), Criminal Code; and
- one count, careless use of a firearm, Section 86(1), Criminal Code.
Brett Zilliges is scheduled to appear in Lloydminster Provincial Court on November 5, 2026 (Information #90579909).
