Big River RCMP seek public assistance identifying suspect in armed robbery

Big River RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance identifying a suspect in an armed robbery.

On September 23, 2026, at approximately 11:00 p.m., Big River RCMP received a report of an armed robbery at a business in Debden, SK. 

Officers responded and determined an adult male threatened an employee with a knife and stole cash before fleeing in a truck. 

No physical injuries were reported to police.

The truck is described as a grey Chevrolet Sierra. 

The suspect is described as an adult male wearing a black sweater, jeans, and a red and black hat. 

At this time, both the truck and the suspect have not been located.

Big River RCMP are asking anyone with information about this incident, or who witnessed suspicious activity in the Debden area in the late evening of September 23 or early morning of September 24, contact police by calling 310-RCMP.
