Pelican Narrows RCMP are investigating two serious assaults that occurred in Pelican Narrows on Saturday, October 3, 2026.

At approximately 7:50 a.m., Pelican Narrows RCMP received a report that an injured teenager was located on the roadway in front of a residence on Wood Crescent. The teen had been transported to hospital by EMS with injuries described as serious in nature.

Pelican Narrows RCMP officers conducted patrols and witness interviews but did not immediately identify suspects.

At approximately 9:35 p.m., Pelican Narrows RCMP responded to a report of an injured adult male on the roadway in front of a different residence on Wood Crescent. Officers administered first aid; EMS responded and transported the male to hospital with injuries described as serious in nature.

Investigators are working to determine if these two assaults are related and are asking Pelican Narrows residents for their help.

“Information from community members often plays a key role in moving investigations forward,” says S/Sgt. Scott Kirychuk, Pelican Narrows RCMP detachment commander.

“If something doesn’t seem right, trust your instincts and report it. The information you have could be exactly what our investigators need to hold people accountable.”

Specifically, investigators would like residents who live on Wood Crescent to check their doorbell cameras and surveillance cameras for suspicious activity between the hours of 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2026. Anyone with information about either incident is asked to report it to Pelican Narrows RCMP by calling 310-RCMP (7267).

Information can also be submitted anonymously by contacting Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or www.saskcrimestoppers.com.

Residents of Pelican Narrows will continue to see an increased police presence. If an imminent risk to public safety is identified, we will notify the public.
