A stolen vehicle fleeing from police was tracked from the air before its driver was located and arrested in Prince Albert.

On September 25, 2026 at approximately 8:30 p.m., Prince Albert Police Service (PAPS) notified Prince Albert RCMP of a suspect fleeing from police in a stolen vehicle. The stolen vehicle had fled from PAPS and was believed to be in Prince Albert RCMP jurisdiction.

The driver was seen fleeing on foot by the RCMP’s Tactical Flight Officer, who assisted officers on the ground by providing the location of the suspect. Investigation determined the driver was impaired and he was arrested.
