Specialized Operations and Intelligence
The RCMP’s Specialized Operations and Intelligence (SO&I) provides integrated support, intelligence, and coordination to domestic and international law enforcement partners. SO&I is made up of a comprehensive network of programs and services that enhances safety, promotes information sharing, supports international collaboration, strengthens investigations, and delivers specialized expertise in support of domestic and international policing operations.
Services and information
Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre
Helps the public and businesses report fraud, supports fraud victims and provides fraud education. Gathers information on fraud across Canada and assists Canadian police with enforcement and prevention efforts.
National Cybercrime Coordination Centre
The RCMP's National Cybercrime Coordination Centre leads cybercrime investigations in Canada and abroad, offering intelligence, tools, and guidance to police partners. It also runs a cyber offender prevention program.
Criminal Intelligence Service Canada
Delivers criminal intelligence products and services to the Canadian law enforcement community and other partners.
International Peace Operations
The RCMP manages the deployment of Canadian police personnel to peace and stabilization operations.
INTERPOL
The RCMP operates Canada’s INTERPOL National Central Bureau, which supports global investigations and manages requests from member countries.
Witness Protection Program
Safeguards individuals who have assisted police or the courts and may be at risk.
