The Yukon RCMP Major Crime Unit is asking the public for information related to the March 2023 murders of Benjamin Symington and Michael Bennett in the C‑6 subdivision near Mayo.
As the investigation continues, police believe there are still individuals in the territory who may hold key information—information that could help bring resolution to the families who have waited three years for answers.
“We know there are people who saw something, heard something, or learned something after the fact,” said Constable Josh Reid, Yukon RCMP Major Crime Unit. “Even if you think your piece of information is small or insignificant, it may be the missing detail investigators need. Please don’t assume that we know what you know.”
Anyone with information is asked to call the Yukon Major Crime Unit at 867‑667‑5555 or contact your local detachment and you will be put in contact with a Major Crime investigator.
