Unauthorized liquor seized in Old Crow

On May 11, 2026, Old Crow RCMP conducted an enforcement action at the Old Crow Airport and seized a quantity of liquor being transported into the community.
The possession and transport of liquor is prohibited under the Old Crow Liquor Prohibition Regulations.
As a result of the investigation, an individual from Old Crow was issued a summary offence ticket for transporting liquor, contrary to section 2(e) of the regulations.
The first court appearance is scheduled for July 21, 2026, in Old Crow.
The seized liquor has been confiscated and will be destroyed.
Old Crow RCMP remains committed to working with community partners to support community safety and well-being.
