Reuben van Klaveren, who was reported missing on April 1, 2026, has been located deceased in Whitehorse on May 27, 2026.
Following investigation, there is no evidence to suggest criminal involvement. The Yukon Coroner’s Service has now assumed primary responsibility for this matter.
Yukon RCMP and the Yukon Coroner’s Service extend their sincere condolences to Mr. van Klaveren’s family and friends during this difficult time.
