Yukon’s Community Notification of High Risk Offenders Protocol provides a framework for determining when information about a high-risk offender may be shared to help protect public safety. A multi-agency Community Notification Advisory Committee assesses each case and makes recommendations to the Commanding Officer of Yukon RCMP, who has final discretion on whether a notification will be issued and how it will be implemented.
