High River RCMP advise of heavy police presence

High River, Alta. – High River RCMP is advising of a heavy police presence as a result of a operation at a residence on 6 avenue SE in High River. There is no ongoing risk to the public. Police ask that residents avoid the area and refrain from posting photographs of officers on social media until after the operation is over.  Once the operation is over, police anticipate remaining on scene for some time investigating.

An update with details regarding this operation is anticipated at a later time.
