Alberta RCMP Community Response Team locate individual on Canada wide warrants

Red Deer, Alta – The Alberta RCMP’s Community Response Team, with the assistance of the Red Deer Crime Reduction Team, Red Deer RCMP, K Division Police Dog Services, and the K Division Emergency Response Team located 40-year-old, Red Deer resident, on Canada wide warrants.
On March 6, 2026, RCMP located the suspect on Canada wide warrants in a residence near 58 Street and 60 Avenue, Red Deer. In addition to locating the individual, police also arrested 24-year-old, Edmonton resident.
As a result of the investigation, Police located and seized:
- 54 grams of Methamphetamine;
- 6 grams of Fentanyl;
- $1105 Canadian Currency;
- Extendable Baton;
- 2 BB guns; and
- Stolen Mail.
Both individuals are jointly charged with:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (x2);
- Possession of Proceeds of Crime under $5000;
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose (x3).
The 40-year-old is additionally charged with Being Unlawfully at large.
The 24-year-old is additionally charged with 4 counts of failing to comply with release order.
Both individuals were held for a bail hearing, and both were remanded into custody. They are to appear in the Alberta Court of Justice in Red Deer at 9:30 AM on March 12, 2026.
