Alberta Community Response Team & Parkland RCMP arrest property offenders

Recovered Chevrolet

Alberta Beach, Alta. –  On Mar. 26, 2026, Parkland RCMP were notified after a sighting of a stolen Chevrolet Silverado in the Onoway, Alta, area. A short time later, the vehicle was used in a theft in Gunn, Alta, where the occupants fled towards Alberta Beach at a high rate of speed. 

The Alberta RCMP Community Response Team attended and located the stolen Chevrolet Silverado in the area of 60th street in Alberta Beach. The three occupants of the vehicle were arrested without further incident. 

As a result of the investigation, police seized a large quantity of methamphetamine, cocaine, drug paraphernalia and brass knuckles from the three accused individuals. 

Upon further investigation, one of the accused was determined to be involved in an earlier robbery which occurred in Spruce Grove near, Century road, where they attempted to steal a vehicle. 

A 32-year-old resident of Edmonton, has been charged with the following: 

  • Robbery;
  • Possession of property obtained by crime; and
  • Drive motor vehicle while unauthorized.

A 30-year-old a resident of Edmonton, has been charged with the following:

  • Possession of property obtained by crime; and
  • Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose.

A 29-year-old resident of Duffield, has been charged with the following: 

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking x2; and
  • Possession of property obtained by crime. 

The 30 and 32-year-old were both remanded into custody with their next court appearances on Mar. 30, 2026 at the Alberta Court of Justice in St. Albert. 

The 29-year-old was brought before a Justice of the Peace and released with their next court appearance on Apr. 15, 2026 at the Alberta Court of Justice in St. Albert.
