Yellowhead County, Alta. – Evansburg RCMP, with assistance from the Alberta RCMP’s Community Response Team and Police Dog Services, conclude a break and enter investigation. On March 20, 2026, Evansburg RCMP responded to a break and enter at the Wildwood UFA Gas Station. On March 24, 2026, after further investigation, the suspect was identified. The Alberta Community Response Team, along with Evansburg RCMP and Police Dog Services, executed a search warrant on a residence on Range Road 80 in Yellowhead County, arrested one individual and seized several investigation-related items.
As a result of the investigation, A 35-year-old, a resident of Yellowhead County, was charged with:
- Break and enter to a business;
- Disguise with intent;
- Mischief over $5,000;
- Possession of property obtained by crime;
- Identity theft (x2);
- Identity fraud (x2); and
- Forgery.
They individual was also arrested on outstanding warrants from Edmonton Police Services. They were brought before a justice of the peace and remanded into custody. They are to appear before the Alberta Court of Justice in Evansburg on March 26, 2026.
