Grande Prairie RCMP Rural Detachment renamed to Clairmont RCMP Detachment

Grande Prairie, Alta. - K Division RCMP is advising the public that the Grande Prairie Rural RCMP Detachment has officially been renamed to the Clairmont RCMP Detachment, effective immediately. 

The Clairmont RCMP Detachment will continue to provide policing services to the communities of Clairmont, Sexsmith, Grovedale, Bezanson, Teepee Creek, Debolt, and Crooked Creek, as well as a large portion of Grande Prairie County and a smaller area within the MD of Greenview.

Residents are also advised that:

• Detachment boundaries remain unchanged 
• All current contact phone numbers remain the same:
  • 911 for emergencies
  • 780-830-5112 requiring a policing response 
  • 780-830-5114 for the Clairmont Detachment administrative line
• The building location for the Clairmont RCMP Detachment remains within the City of Grande Prairie at:
  • Suite 101 - 10605 West Side Drive in Grande Prairie, Alberta

The public will not experience any changes to service delivery as a result of the renaming of the Clairmont Detachment. The public should expect the same level of service and response. The Clairmont Detachment and the K Division RCMP would like to thank the residents for their understanding and cooperation. The RCMP remain committed to maintaining public safety for all residents serviced by the Clairmont Detachment.
