Maskwacis RCMP advises of highway closure

Maskwacis, Alta. – Maskwacis RCMP is currently on scene of an overturned semi on Highway 2 Northbound, just North of the Maskwacis exit. Highway 2 Northbound will be closed until further notice while the semi is unloaded and the road is cleared. Traffic is being rerouted to Highway 2a via Highway 611. The public is asked to avoid the area and to follow the instructions given by officers on scene.

An update is anticipated once the Highway reopens. For the most up to date information, consult Alberta 511.
