Alberta RCMP MCU investigates sudden death in Valleyview

Valleyview, Alta. – On April 9, 2026, around 11:39 p.m., Valleyview RCMP were informed of an individual laying in the streets near 3802 Highway street. EMS attended and declared him deceased. The scene was, and remains, secured and Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit (MCU) took carriage of the investigation. Initial investigation revealed suspicious injuries on the deceased. An autopsy will be scheduled to determine cause of death.
