Vegreville RCMP seek public assistance for break and enter suspects

Mundare, Alta. – In the late evening on Apr. 8, 2026, Vegreville RCMP responded to a business alarm at 11:45 p.m., in the town of Mundare. Police confirmed there was a break and enter to a business near the intersection of 52 Avenue and 50 Street. Police located and seized the cash register which will be analysed by Alberta RCMP Forensic Identification Services. Police have reviewed surveillance footage and two break and enter suspects remain at large and are described below. This police investigation is ongoing.
Suspect 1 wearing:
- Red Hoodie with a black sweater with white stripes down the arms and white writing on the back
- Black track pants with stipes
- Red gloves
- Red mask
- Black baseball hat
- Red running shoes
Described as
- Between 5’8” and 6’2” tall, with an average build.
Suspect 2 wearing:
- Grey/ Dark green jacket
- Grey pants
- Grey Running shoes with a white bottom
- Grey gloves
- Black mask with a white pattern
Described as
- Between 5’6” and 6’0” tall, with an average build
Vegreville RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance for dash camera footage, or surveillance footage in the areas between 51st and 53rd Avenue along 50th Street, in Mundare, between Apr. 8, at 11:30 p.m., and 12:30 a.m., on Apr. 9, 2026. If you have any footage that appears helpful, or have knowledge on who committed this crime, you are asked to contact Vegreville RCMP at 780-631-2750.
