Airdrie and Cochrane RCMP seek public assistance to identify break & enter suspects

Airdrie, Alta. – Airdrie RCMP were contacted regarding a break and enter that occurred to a business on March 29, 2026, at approximately 1:30 a.m., near the intersection of 1st Street SW and Centre Avenue, Airdrie. Video surveillance shows two suspects removing a large laser device from the business. Airdrie RCMP are seeking public assistance in identifying the two suspects. A similar occurrence occurred a week later in Cochrane.

Cochrane, Alta. – On Apr. 6, 2026, at approximately 1:15 a.m., Cochrane RCMP responded to a report of a business alarm alert near the intersection of First Street East and Pope Avenue. Video surveillance shows two suspects removing a large laser device from the business. Cochrane RCMP are seeking public assistance in identifying the two suspects.

Suspect 1 is shared in surveillance photos attached from both Airdrie and Cochrane incidents. In Airdrie, wearing black top with jeans, dark footwear, mask, and gloves. And in Cochrane, wearing white top, blue jeans, boots, dark mask, and gloves.

Suspect 2 is shared in surveillance photos attached from both Airdrie and Cochrane incidents. In Airdrie, wearing black top with jeans, dark footwear, mask, and gloves. And in Cochrane, wearing white top, blue jeans and boots, dark mask, and gloves.

Suspect vehicle is described as:

  • Make: Toyota Highlander
  • Colour: Black
  • Estimated year between 2017-2019

Airdrie RCMP is requesting anyone with dash camera footage, surveillance footage, or who can identify the suspects involved in this incident on March 29, 2026, between 1 to 2 a.m., near the intersection of 1st Street SW and Centre Avenue, to call Airdrie RCMP at 403-945-7200.

Cochrane RCMP is requesting anyone with dash camera footage, surveillance footage, or who can identify the suspects involved in this incident, between 12:30 and 1:30 a.m., along First Street East between Pope Avenue and Ross Avenue, to call Cochrane RCMP at 403-851-8000.
