Lamont, Alta. – On April 23, 2026, at 1:06 p.m., Lamont RCMP received a report of an individual showing other individuals a firearm near the Lamont High School in Lamont. Police quickly responded and were able to contact the suspect who was very cooperative. The firearm was discovered to be an airsoft gun and no offences had been committed.
