Grande Prairie RCMP warns the public after two assaults on the Muskoseepi trails

Grande Prairie, Alta. – On May 4, 2026, and May 6, 2026, two assaults, believed to be related at this time, took place on the Muskoseepi walking trails near Bear Creek Park, between 68 Ave and 84 Ave. The first victim reported being struck in the back of the head with a pipe by an individual riding a bike. The second victim reported a similar incident. Nothing was stolen from the victims, the victims were unknown to each other, and these attacks appear to be random in nature.
The public is asked to be vigilant when using those paths until further notice. If you have any information regarding these incidents, please contact the RCMP at 780-830-5701.
