Elk Point RCMP requests public assistance in robbery investigation

Elk Point, Alta. – Elk Point RCMP received a report stating that, on April 19, 2026, around 4:30 a.m., a robbery occurred on New Horizon Drive in Frog Lake First Nations, Alta. The victim was struck in the head with a bladed object and had their purse stolen. The suspect was wearing dark colour clothing and immediately left the scene.

Elk Point RMCP are seeking public assistance in this investigation. Anyone with information on this incident or that may have footage of the area in around the time of the crime is asked to please contact the Elk Point RCMP at 780-724-3964.
