Red Deer RCMP advise of heavy police presence

Red Deer, Alta. – Red Deer RCMP are responding to reports of possible threats and are advising of heavy police presence in the area of Hunting Hills High School, the Collicut Centre, and Notre Dame Secondary School. 

All facilities have been placed in a hold and secure while police conduct their investigation. 

We remind the public to avoid the area and refrain from posting pictures of police response to social media until the situation is resolved. 

An update will be provided once more information becomes available.
