Clairmont RCMP requesting public assistance in motor vehicle collision investigation

Clairmont, Alta. - On May 8, 2026, just after 9 p.m., Clairmont RCMP responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian on Highway 666, between Highway 40 and Grovedale, Alta. A male was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries and the vehicle did not remain at the scene of the collision.

Clairmont RCMP is seeking public assistance in this investigation. Any witnesses, or anyone with dashcam footage of Highway 666, between Highway 40 and Grovedale, on May 8, 2026 after 9 p.m., is asked to please come forward.
