Wood Buffalo RCMP investigate theft of John Deer Loader – suspect sought

Fort McMurray, Alta – On May 7, 2026, at approximately 5:17 p.m. Wood Buffalo RCMP responded to a report of a stolen John Deer front loader. At the time it was stolen, the John Deer loader was parked in the alley behind the 9900 block of Frankline Avenue in the downtown area of Fort McMurray.  

Surveillance footage was obtained by RCMP, and the loader was observed being driven by the suspect, westbound on Hardin Street at approximately 2:30 a.m. on May 6, 2026.

The John Deer loader is described as:

  • 2015;
  • Black and yellow; and
  • Snow blade attached to the front.

Anyone with information regarding this theft, is requested to contact the Wood Buffalo RCMP at (780) 788‐4000 or 310-RCMP (7267).
