Bonnyville RCMP charge four after warrant execution

Bonnyville, Alta. - On May 11, 2026, Bonnyville RCMP General Investigation Section (GIS), attended a residence in the Bonnyville MD after a report of suspicious persons at the property.  While conducting proactive follow-up, Bonnyville RCMP located a stolen vehicle on a property. A search warrant was obtained for the property and as a result, the following was seized:

• Multiple firearms and ammunition;
• A prohibited magazine;
• 28 grams of suspected cocaine;
• A quantity of oxycodone and illegal steroids;
• 59 grams of cutting agent;
• 58 grams of suspected psilocybin
• 6 grams of suspected methamphetamine; and
• Other drug paraphernalia.

A 32-year-old resident of Bonnyville, has been charged with the following offences:

• Possession for the purpose of trafficking Schedule I: Cocaine;
• Careless storage of a firearm;
• Unauthorized possession of a firearm; and
• Possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized. 

After a Judicial Interim Release Hearing, this individual was remanded to appear in Alberta Court of Justice in Bonnyville on June 23.

A 29-year-old resident of Bonnyville, has been charged with the following offences:

• Possession for the purpose of trafficking Schedule I: Cocaine;
• Careless storage of a firearm;
• Unauthorized possession of a firearm;
• Possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized;
• Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000; and 
• Resist/Obstruct a Peace Officer.

After a Judicial Interim Release Hearing,  they were released to appear in Alberta Court of Justice in Bonnyville on June 16.

A 29-year-old resident of Bonnyville, has been charged with the following offences:

• Possession for the purpose of trafficking Schedule I: Cocaine;
• Careless storage of a firearm;
• Unauthorized possession of a firearm;
• Possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized;
• Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000;
• Resist/Obstruct a Peace Officer;

After a Judicial Interim Release Hearing, the individual was remanded to appear in Alberta Court of Justice in Bonnyville on June 16.

A 37-year-old resident of Bonnyville, was charged with the following offences, which they have already dealt with in court: 

• Possession for the purpose of trafficking Schedule I: Cocaine;
• Careless storage of a firearm;
• Unauthorized possession of a firearm;
• Possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized;
