Leduc RCMP arrests individual after suspicious activity complaints

Leduc, Alta.- On May 29, 2026, the Leduc RCMP received multiple complaints about a suspect wearing a black Chicago Bulls hoodie and beige mask in the Meadowview area of Leduc. The suspect entered a home without permission, then was seen entering neighboring yards and behaving suspiciously. The suspect was located and arrested by responding members.
A 29-year-old of no fixed address, is facing the following charges:
- Unlawfully in a dwelling house;
- Disguise with intent;
- Obstruction; and
- Breach Probation.
The individual was held for a judicial interim release hearing. They were remanded into custody and is set to appear in the Alberta Court of Justice in Leduc on June 11, 2026.
