Leduc RCMP investigates fatal collision

Leduc, Alta. - On June 14, 2026, at approximately 8 p.m., Leduc RCMP, EMS and Fire responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision at Highway 2A and 50 Street in Leduc. Upon arrival, a Ford Fusion and Ford Edge were located. 

Unfortunately, the driver of the Edge, a 55-year-old, and the 55-year-old passenger, both Leduc residents, were declared deceased at the scene. A rear passenger was transported to hospital with unknown injuries. The driver of the Fusion was also transported to hospital with nonlife threatening injuries.

The RCMP collision reconstructionist attended and is investigating the cause of the collision.  

RCMP sends condolences to the family and friends of the deceased and injured.
