St. Albert RCMP seeking public assistance in identifying suspect

St. Albert, Alta. – On June 17, 2026, at 8:15 p.m., St. Albert RCMP was called to a theft in progress near Riverside Drive in St. Albert. An unknown male was believed to be attempting to steal a catalytic converter from a vehicle. A member of the public approached the unknown male, and a verbal altercation took place. The unknown male fled towards Riverside Drive in a dark blue Dodge Ram.

The suspect is described as (image attached):

• Fair complexion male between the age of 40-50 years
• Approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall
• Clean shaven
• Wearing black shoes with white soles, black Roots sweatpants, black hoodie, black hat.

The truck is described as:

• Dark Blue Dodge Ram
• Very loud
