Beaverlodge RCMP – Amber Alert issued for 6-year-old Lanakai Morrison-update

Beaverlodge, Alta. – On July 7, 2026, 6-year-old Lanakai Morrison was taken by his 35-year-old mother, Krista Morrison from Valhalla Centre, near Beaverlodge, Alta. 

Lanakai is believed to be with his biological mother, Krista Morrison, her partner Daniel Ludwig and another child, 4-year-old Karl Morrison.

Daniel Ludwig may have a bald or shaved head. 

The 2015 black Toyota Tundra, AB license plate CTN6517 has been located by police. RCMP now believe they are driving in a 2006 Red Ford F350, AB license plate CXW8820.

Do not approach the suspect or vehicle if located. Call Beaverlodge RCMP immediately at 780-354-2955, 911, or your local police service.
