Gibbons, Alta.- Morinville RCMP are currently on scene of a serious motor vehicle collision on Highway 28 between Range Road 233 and Highway 28A, north of Gibbons, Alta. Highway 28 will be re-routed through Gibbons in both directions while police conduct their investigation.

The public is asked to avoid travel in the area and find alternate routes.  

An update will be sent once the highway reopens. No further details are available at this time.
