Parkland RCMP request for information regarding serious assault

Devon, Alta. – On July 8, 2026, at approximately 1:30 a.m., Parkland RCMP received a report of a fight involving multiple individuals near 100 Michigan Avenue in Devon. 

Upon arrival, police located a 39-year-old victim who was assaulted. Shortly after, police received a second report regarding a 42-year-old who was found in the Athabasca Acres area of Devon, who had sustained injuries. 

Two suspects, both residents of Devon, were arrested at the scene. Police believe this was an isolated event and that there is no ongoing threat to public safety.
