Canmore RCMP investigates sudden death

Canmore, Alta. – On Aug. 16, 2026, around 09:50 a.m., Canmore RCMP was advised of a body located in the Bow River near Canmore. Canmore RCMP were able to identify the 52-year-old resident of Canmore. The investigation into the circumstances leading up to their death are still under investigation.

Alberta RCMP sends their condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
