Vegreville RCMP seek public assistance identifying suspect vehicle in road rage collision

Vegreville, Alta. – On Aug. 28, 2026, at approximately 12:45 p.m., Vegreville RCMP responded to a report of a road rage incident, resulting in a collision on Range Road 152, north of Township Road 522.

A male suspect traveling in a black Dodge Ram pick-up truck sped past an SUV and slammed on the breaks causing a collision. The driver of the truck exited the vehicle and approached the SUV, breaking the driver side window with a crowbar. 

The driver of the truck fled the scene, and police are asking for assistance in identifying the vehicle. 

Suspect Vehicle: 

• Black
• Dodge Ram
• Appears to have metal truck toolbox

The driver and passenger of the SUV sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision, as well as damage to the vehicle. The police investigation remains ongoing.
