Lloydminster RCMP seeking public assistance in investigation

Lloydminster, Alta. – On Sept. 10, 2026, around 5:55 p.m., RCMP were called to a residence where a dog named Sable was found deceased in her back yard. Further investigation revealed that Sable had multiple puncture wounds on several parts of her body. Neighborhood inquiries revealed that, sometime around 4:30 p.m., multiple dogs in the area started barking at the same time. Lloydminster RCMP is currently investigating, and an autopsy is to be conducted to reveal cause of death.

Lloydminster RCMP is seeking public assistance in this investigation. Anyone with footage of the area comprised of 39 street, 43 street, 47 avenue and 50 avenue, especially pertaining to 41 street, is asked to please review their footage.
