Edson RCMP locates individual on warrants

Edson, Alta. – On Oct. 18, 2026, Edson RCMP responded to a report that led RCMP to locating the 21-year-old resident of Edson, who had several warrants.

The individuals warrants included spanning over Edson, Wetaskiwin, Alta, Grande Prairie, Alta, and Hinton. Driving while unauthorized x5, drive uninsured vehicle on the highway, as well as warrants for an unpaid ticket for driving while unauthorized.

The individual was brought before a Justice of the Peace, where they were released with a court date of Dec. 9, 2026, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Edson.

The Edson RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the location of, or sightings of any suspicious activity in the area. Anyone with information in relation to any suspicious activity is asked to please contact the Edson RCMP at 780-723-8800 or your local police.
