Burnaby RCMP - Advance requests for attendance at community events

Community engagement is a priority for the Burnaby RCMP, and officers and detachment staff regularly attend various community events in Burnaby when possible.

If you wish to request Burnaby RCMP attendance or a safety-related presentation at an upcoming community event, please email E_BURNABY_EVENTS@rcmp-grc.gc.ca for an attendance request form. Please make the request six weeks in advance of the event if possible.

Requests are assessed on a case by case basis and attendance is subject to operational availability.

Events Burnaby RCMP may attend or participate in include:

  • Safety presentations may include, but are not limited to, fraud, cyber crime, senior/children’s/women’s and newcomer safety
  • Attendance at community events including festivals, sporting events, and award ceremonies
  • Other events and outreach opportunities where staff can share safety-related information
  • Opportunities to develop community engagement
