Richmond RCMP reminds public of upcoming e-scooter and e-bike safety outreach event

Richmond RCMP is reminding residents about the second of three e-scooter and e-bike safety outreach event being held throughout the community.

These events aim to educate riders about the rules of the road, safe riding practices and the importance of sharing roads and pathways responsibly with other users. As the popularity of e-scooters and e-bikes continues to grow in Richmond, outreach and education remain key components in promoting the safe use of these devices.

Date: Friday August 28, 2026

Time: 11:00 am to 2:00 pm

Location: Lansdowne Mall south exit 

Richmond residents are encouraged to stop by, speak with event partners, and learn more about safe and responsible e-scooter and e-bike operation. There will be information tents, safety brochures, giveaways, and a prize draw for attendees.
