Richmond RCMP Crime Prevention Programs
Richmond RCMP works closely with community volunteers, local residents and businesses to increase public awareness and preparedness in response to crime or perceptions of crime in a specific geographic area.
Using crime analytics as an indicator, we devise special crime prevention projects that pro-actively target emerging crime trends.
Our Crime Prevention Programs are designed to:
- educate the public regarding crime prevention programs and techniques
Business windows and doors with signs recommending to keep doors locked and safe, and another photo shows a Block Watch sign on a light post outside
- act as a liaison for police/community communication
- work with the public to combat specific crime related problems
