Community Policing Volunteers at a Speed Watch

Richmond RCMP works closely with community volunteers, local residents and businesses to increase public awareness and preparedness in response to crime or perceptions of crime in a specific geographic area.

Using crime analytics as an indicator, we devise special crime prevention projects that pro-actively target emerging crime trends.

Our Crime Prevention Programs are designed to:

  • educate the public regarding crime prevention programs and techniques
  • act as a liaison for police/community communication
  • work with the public to combat specific crime related problems
