Regular members (including special constables)

Health care for regular and special constable members

Health care benefits coverage for eligible medical and dental services is administered by Medavie Blue Cross (MBC). Once registered on the Medavie Blue Cross online portal, you can:

  • sign-up for direct deposit
  • view health benefits eligibility (RCMP Benefits Grid can be found on the Medavie Blue Cross online portal) along with claim status, payment and history
  • find MBC registered health care providers
  • download MBC Health Benefits claim form
  • submit health and dental claims
  • print a temporary MBC health identification card
  • request a replacement MBC health identification card.

Claim forms must be sent to Medavie Blue Cross and can be can be found on Medavie Blue Cross Client/Member portal.

Medavie Blue Cross Provider Claims Reimbursement Services

Health care providers registered with MBC Provider Portal can submit claims electronically on behalf of members.

Dental care claims

Dentists with registered CDAnetTM can submit your dental claims and receive real-time adjudication. Contact your dental service provider to determine if they are registered with CDAnetTM.

If the service requested is the result of a work-related injury or illness, this must be clearly identified on the Standard Dental claim form and mailed to Medavie Blue Cross. Members must contact their divisional Occupational Health & Safety Services (OHSS) offices to initiate the RCMP Determination Process for Access to Occupational Health Care Benefits.

Supplemental Health Care benefits

Supplemental Health Care (SHC) benefits are provided at no cost to eligible regular and special constable members but there are some limitations.

The RCMP Benefits Grid can be found on the Medavie Blue Cross Client/Member portal.
