Employees and members of the New Brunswick RCMP were honoured during a ceremony on March 20, 2025, as recipients of the King Charles III Coronation Medal. The event was attended by the recipients, their families, New Brunswick's Commanding Officer Matco Sirotic, Lieutenant Governor Louise Imbeault, and other members of the leadership team.

Several RCMP officers, federal public service employees, and municipal employees were recently honored for their outstanding contributions to public safety by receiving the prestigious King’s Coronation Medal. This medal, commemorating the coronation of King Charles III, recognizes individuals who have made a significant impact in their communities and fields of service.

The event was filled with pride and gratitude as recipients were celebrated for their dedication, commitment, and tireless efforts to ensure the safety and wellbeing of New Brunswick residents.

“This medal represents the highest recognition for public service,” said Assistant Commissioner Matco Sirotic, the Commanding Officer of the New Brunswick RCMP. “It is with great pride that we acknowledge these remarkable individuals who have not only excelled in their respective roles but have also gone above and beyond to make New Brunswick safe for the people we serve. Their commitment to serving with excellence is truly deserving of this honour.”

The King’s Coronation Medal serves as a symbol of gratitude for the selfless contributions these individuals have made, often working long hours and facing challenges that require resilience and compassion. Recipients included officers and public service employees who exemplify the values of hard work, integrity, and service.
