The Western Valley Region RCMP detachment is asking for the public's help following a home invasion in Pole Hill, N.B.
On June 14, 2025, at approximately 4 a.m., members of the Western Valley Region RCMP responded to a report of a home invasion at a residence on Route 575, in Pole Hill.
Two individuals forcibly gained entry to the residence by breaking the door window. The homeowners were inside at the time of the incident. While in the residence, one homeowner was assaulted with a baseball bat. The homeowner was transported to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The two suspects, believed to be a man and a woman, left the residence in a vehicle prior to police arrival with a purse and an undisclosed amount of money.
Anyone who may have information that could help further the investigation, or who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area during the overnight hours of June 14, is asked to contact the Western Valley Region RCMP at 506-273-5000. The investigation is ongoing.
