Update, September 16, 2025: Police are still trying to locate David Cook, who was last seen on July 13, 2025, at a residence on Academy Street, in Hillsborough. On September 13, 2025, RCMP officers, with the assistance of the Tri-County Ground Search and Rescue team, conducted another thorough search of the area where Mr. Cook was last known to be. Despite extensive efforts, including ground and aerial searches, no new information has emerged regarding his whereabouts. Police are now releasing a picture of the bright blue cartoon t-shirt he was last seen wearing, in case someone may recognize it. Police are asking residents to check their properties for any sign of the missing man, or anything that may appear out of place. If you come across anything, leave it as is and notify police. Police are also asking anyone with a trail camera, doorbell camera or any video surveillance to review footage for any images of the missing man. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Caledonia Region RCMP at 506-387-2222. The Calendonia Region RCMP is asking for the public's help locating a missing 48-year-old man from Hillsborough, New Brunswick.
David Cook was last seen on July 13, 2025, at approximately 7 a.m., at a residence on Academy Street, in Hillsborough. He was reported missing to police later the same day. Police have followed up on several leads to try and locate him but have so far been unsuccessful. Police and his family are concerned for his wellbeing.
David Cook is described as being approximately 5 feet 11 inches (180 centimetres) tall and weighing approximately 180 pounds (82 kilograms). He has green eyes, a bald head, and a black and grey beard. He was last seen wearing a bright blue cartoon t-shirt, khakis shorts, and hiking boots.
