Three individuals arrested; drugs and paraphernalia seized

A 41-year-old man and a 48-year-old man, both from Grand Manan, N.B., as well as a 41-year-old woman from Nova Scotia, have been arrested following a traffic stop in Grand Manan. 

On March 12, 2026, at approximately 9 p.m., members of the Grand Manan conducted a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle travelling on Route 776 in Grand Manan, N.B. 

Subsequently, police searched the vehicle and found what is believed to be cocaine, as well as a digital scale, packaging materials and a cell phone. As a result, the driver, a 41-year-old man from Grand Manan, and two passengers; a 48-year-old man from Grand Manan and a 41-year-old woman from Nova Scotia were arrested. They were later released and will appear in court at a later date. 

The New Brunswick RCMP is committed to reducing the supply of controlled substances in our communities and to deterring persons from engaging in drug trafficking through ongoing enforcement efforts. 

The public also plays an important role in helping to reduce, prevent and solve crime, including the trafficking of illegal drugs. The investigation is ongoing.
