On March 28, shortly before 7 p.m., members of the Carleton County and York Sudbury Ground Search and Rescue (GSAR) teams, along with the New Brunswick RCMP’s Police Dog Services, located the 46-year-old woman in a wooded area.
The RCMP would like to thank all of the GSAR volunteers involved in the search and in safely locating the woman, as well as our specialized policing services, and the public for their assistance.

The Western Valley Region RCMP is asking for the public’s help to locate a missing 46-year-old woman from Scott Siding, N.B.
She was last seen on March 27, 2026, at approximately 7 p.m., at a residence on Scott Siding Road in Scott Siding. She was reported missing to police the same evening. Police have followed up on several leads to try and locate her but have so far been unsuccessful. Police and her family are concerned for her wellbeing.
RCMP specialized services including a helicopter, a Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems operator (drone), and Police Dog Services are currently in the area as part of the search.
